Passenger List Indexing Project

This project was carried out by the Nanaimo Family History Society to record 757,749 passengers from 1903 to 1910 who came through ports in Montreal and Quebec City for the purpose of travel and immigration. Many people who eventually ended up in the United States originally came through Canada on these ships.

What This Free Genealogy Site Includes:

  • the manifests of ships arriving at Canadian ports in 1902 and 1903-1910
  • name, age, arrival date and country of origin for passengers
  • passenger lists from 1,400+ ships arriving at QC and NS ports
  • lists include immigrants, those traveling to the US, tourists and returning Canadians
