  1. I thought I discovered a new branch of my family tree … Then I realized I was barking up the wrong root!

  2. Very funny!
Would you like to see some of our genealogy humor books (e.g., COLLECTING DEAD RELATIVES, FURTHER ADVENTURES OF A DEAD RELATIVE COLLECTION, TIPS AND QUIPS FOR THE FAMILY HISTORIAN?

  3. So true, Jeanne Marie, so true, and I wish our ancestors -and everyone else’s ancestors – hadn’t kept on repeating multitudes of names, vertically and horizontally, within generations, and often naming subsequent children after some that had died previously [though I can understand why]. The tangles we can get into!

  4. I knew a girl whose mother was from Iceland and her dad was from Cuba. Which made her an Ice cube.

  5. Ba ha ha ha ha – to quote an Aussie icon- Ned Kelly ” sad but true”. I think that these really do describe us genealogists to a tee. well done!
Ok 5 minute break over its back to research 😆

  6. Jeanne Marie Gravely Waggoner

Oh so true. Thanks a lot. After watching the webinar of ten more secrets to using Myheritage I was wishing for a simple card catalogue.
