Get a MyHeritage Free Trial of the Complete Plan

MyHeritage offers a 14-day free trial of their Complete Plan, which includes all records and features, right here. If you choose to subscribe after the free trial is over we think you’ll find that the monthly rate is very reasonable. Read on to explore more about their features and pricing.

Editor’s Note: If you choose to take advantage of the deal on this page Family History Daily may receive a commission. We only recommend products we think will provide a great value to our readers and this commission helps us keep the site alive.

It’s no secret that we love free genealogy research sites here at Family History Daily, and there are more options available for no-cost research than ever before. But we also regularly use and love paid research sites because they often offer records and features that are difficult or impossible to find for free. But, as we all know, paid sites can be expensive. The cost of a MyHeritage subscription is no exception.

How much does MyHeritage cost?

Make Instant Discoveries in Your Family Tree Now
Imagine adding your family tree to a simple website and getting hundreds of new family history discoveries instantly.

MyHeritage is offering 2 free weeks of access to their extensive collection of 20 billion historical records, as well as their matching technology that instantly connects you with new information about your ancestors. Sign up using the link below to find out what you can uncover about your family.

MyHeritage yearly memberships cost $299 for the Complete Plan, although the first year is billed at $199. They offer additional membership levels, but the Complete Plan generally provides the most value. You can see all of their subscription options here.

MyHeritage sometimes offers a one year subscription to everything on their site for 50% off the full price. This can be a great chance to get a full year of research on a paid site for a much more affordable cost than is typical. Subscribe to our newsletter by downloading the free checklist on this page to stay up-to-date on their sales.

Can I search MyHeritage.com for free?

A MyHeritage free trial is available and includes everything the site offers at no cost for 2 full weeks. You will need to unsubscribe in that time period if you don’t want to continue to a paid membership, however.

  3. I forgot to cancel my free trial and was also charged for the year, however an email to My Heritage resulted in a member of staff contacting me and rectifying MY mistake, and I received a full refund within the 10 business days they said I would. Really haven’t experienced better customer service anywhere.

  4. Same thing happened to me.
    BEWARE!
The way around this is to use a prepaid credit card from a garage/gas station with a couple of dollars loaded only. Deduct all you can myheritage.

  5. Sorry if your charged 113, it’s because of a biblical “count” on the human body of the internet itself. The number is where “it” sits in the Bible of Fortune so it is asking you, since the religions, unions etc aren’t “accepting” the Christ computer, it lables everyone else the number that the mystery computer should be. . If you enjoy using the internet you should speak up and help push the executive orders Act #2 for the printing transportation system. Otherwise there goes every communications, electronics digital etc. all because people overlook the impORtDANCE of the instramentation. They have been COMMANDED to respond to correct the problem directly. We’re positive “it” shall all work out being that it’s internet. Every human is a 6, remember SIX FeeT A WAY, SOCIALsecurityDIS”dancing” cause it just might be our existance! Happy coaid_Y…

  6. I signed up for 2 weeks free trial which I did not use as information to complicated. I WAS charged over €121.00. I would like a full refund

  7. I signed for 14 day free trial however did not intend to purchase a 1 year subscription.
After 14 days my bank contacted me saying My Heritage were attempting to claim over £113.
I informed them I did not authorise this. The bank assured me that they would block this and any other presentation by this company. Four days later I saw that the money had been taken from my account by MY Heritage. I contacted the bank and they said that they had blocked MY Heritage however MY Heritage had resubmitted the purchase a further three times and they paid out on the forth because MY Heritage used a different IP account they didn’t pick up..
